Tour Detail
We begin our enjoyable journey early in the morning from Antalya, exploring the natural and historical beauties of Burdur. During our breakfast break along the way, we start the day beautifully and take the opportunity to rest amidst the area's pure air.
After breakfast, we turn our route toward the ancient city of Sagalassos, one of the most important cities of the Pisidian civilization. Located at the foot of the Taurus Mountains, approximately 1,700 meters above sea level, this impressive ancient city transports visitors back in time with its majestic structures, theater, agora, fountains, and breathtaking scenery. Especially noteworthy is the still-flowing water of the Antonine Fountain and the monumental ruins that have survived to this day, revealing the region's historical richness.
Following our exploration of the ancient site, we proceed to a restaurant where we can enjoy the region’s famous flavors for lunch. Guests can choose between tasting trout cooked in terracotta or Burdur’s renowned local dish, Burdur kebab.
After lunch, we head to the Sığla Forest, where we will enjoy delightful moments immersed in nature. In this unique area, one of Turkey’s rare natural reserves, we will experience a boat tour on tranquil waters, experiencing the calmness of the water and the lush greenery. The natural beauty created by Sığla trees makes this trip a memorable photo opportunity for enthusiasts.
Following the boat tour, we visit Karataş Cave, one of the region’s natural treasures. The cave, noted for its stalactites and stalagmites, offers a close-up view of geological formations that are millions of years old and provides visitors with a distinctive atmosphere. These patient natural sculptures make the cave visit unforgettable.
Throughout the day filled with history, nature, and local delicacies, we begin our journey back to Antalya. In the evening, we drop off our valued guests at their respective points and bid farewell until our next tour.
