Tour Program
Day 1: Babakale - Bademli Village - Yeşilyurt - Assos - Adatepe - Altınoluk - Tahtakuşlar - Akçay
We arrive at our first stop, Babakale, in the early morning. We reach Babakale. We see Babakale, along with its fishing harbor, and the Apollon Smintheon Temple, where many works have been uncovered in recent years. We wave across to the Molivos Castle on the island of Lesbos right opposite us. From here, we continue on to Bademli Village, which is part of Ayvacık. After touring this village, we head toward ASSOS, one of the most beautiful cities of the ancient era. We listen to our guide’s information about the city and add to our photos while taking in the breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea. After visiting BEHRAMKALE VILLAGE, located within the Ancient City, and tasting black mulberry juice, we continue on to YEŞİLYURT VILLAGE, formerly Büyük Çetmi, founded by the Oğuz tribes, one of the most beautiful villages of the Kaz Mountains. We take a break at the open-air café in the village square. Then we turn our route toward ADATEPE VILLAGE and the ALTAR OF ZEUS. Before reaching the village, we proceed along an approximately 800-meter gently sloping dirt road through pine trees to reach this area, known as a place of worship and popularly called the “Balcony of the Gulf.” When we arrive, the Edremit Gulf offers us a magnificent view right beneath our feet. In the square of Adatepe Village, composed of stone buildings crafted by Greek masters, we stroll through its history-filled streets and, in the tea gardens under the shade of magnificent plane trees, you can have your drinks and taste goat’s milk and herb ice cream. Some of the wonders we will see include Turkey’s first Olive Oil Museum in Küçükkuyu’s Adatepe village, Tahtakuşlar Ethnography Museum, the first village museum in our country, Altınoluk Beach, Hasan Boğuldu, and Sutüven Waterfalls. We head to Akçay for accommodation. In the evening, you can walk along Akçay’s shoreline.
2 DAY: KAZDAĞLARI JEEP AND SAFARI (EXTRA)
Accommodation: AKÇAY HOTEL
3 Days: Ayvalık-Devil's Table-Cunda Island-Dikili-Bergama
After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we depart from the hotel and head to our first stop, Ayvalık center. Accompanied by our guide, we tour Ayvalık’s historic streets. After completing our visit, we go to Cunda Island and Şeytan Sofrası. After enjoying tea and coffee and taking photos there, we set off for Dikili. In Dikili, we visit Nebiler Village and Aşıklar Waterfall. After our free time there, we head to Bergama. We tour the historic structure known as the Red Basilica and then ascend to the Acropolis. After a sightseeing and photo break with the area’s unique view, we complete our guided visits to the Altar of Zeus, the Temple of Bacchus, the Library of Pergamon, and the Temple of Athena, and then begin our return journey. On the way back, we stop in Serinhisar for a roasted chickpea shopping break and in Korkuteli for a dinner break featuring shish kofte. Afterwards, we drop you off at the locations where we picked you up and bid you farewell, hoping to see you on another tour.
